EuroTier 2024, the world's leading professional livestock farming trade fair, be held in Hanover, Germany from November 12 to 15, 2024. Pearlzyme Inc. exhibits its product, "Natural Alkaline Protease Enzyme Product Extracted from Tidal Flats" at the Korean Pavilion. PEARLZYME is a trendy product that fits the slogan of eco-friendly and animal farming innovation, and it has been introduced to the European continent for the first time. Several buyers are showing great interest and continuing to communicate. The event is centered around the theme of "We are revolutionizing animal farming" and addresses the critical challenge of securing food for the growing world population. Considering that the available arable land per capita has decreased significantly from 3,800 square meters in 1970 to 1,800 square meters in 2023, the main focus is on livestock feed and efficient land use. The exhibition addresses the issue of competition for food resources, given that farm animals consume around a third of the world’s grain harvest and over 80% of soybean production. To mitigate this competition, EuroTier 2024 explores solutions such as prioritizing biomass use, utilizing biomass unsuitable for human consumption as animal feed, and improving feed management to reduce losses.

Alternative protein sources are a major topic of discussion, with insects and algae highlighted as potential options. Insects are rich in protein and fat, but face challenges in terms of feed quality and efficiency. Microalgae and macroalgae offer protein and carbohydrate potential, but have limited digestibility for farm animals.

The event showcases innovative feed solutions and processes from leading companies and startups focused on animal welfare, sustainability, digitalization, and AI. Building on the success of previous events, which attract 2,193 exhibitors from 51 countries and around 120,000 visitors from 149 countries, EuroTier 2024 is expected to become a hub for innovation and knowledge exchange in the livestock farming industry. EuroTier 2024  features “expert stages” covering a wide range of topics including poultry, cattle, pigs, horses, direct farm sales and on-farm slaughter.
